Obama: Trayvon Martin ‘could have been me 35 years ago’

 

The President again gets involved in an issue he shouldn't have. As to his sad song why whites are afraid of young black men, I would suggest only the ones who dress like and act like thugs! And don’t give me that culture BS…. Because if it’s their culture to let your young men dress and act that way don’t you think something is wrong? Walking around with hats on backwards, pants hanging around their butts, shoes with no shoe laces talking gangster talk and flashing gang signs! Young black men having Nellie as a role model and having disdain for someone like Clarence Thomas! Young black girls having Rihanaa as a role model instead of someone like Condoleezza Rice!? Also its evident that these young men and women who act this way show a disdain for white people that is evident especially if they are in a group! They become very threatening and they know it! Also Mr. President if you analyze FBI and Justice Department data & surveys, startling facts emerge:

"Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against other blacks." Forty-five percent of the victims of violent crime by blacks are white, 43 percent are black, 10 percent are Hispanic.

“Blacks are seven times as likely as people of other races to commit murder, eight times more likely to commit robbery and three times more likely to use a gun in a crime.”

"Blacks are an estimated 39 times more likely to commit violent crime against a white person than vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery." (If decent blacks have trouble hailing a cab, and they do, these numbers may help explain it.)

Black-on-white rape is 115 times more common than the reverse. 

The media don’t help. Most of the people shown on the news that have committed a violent crime are black! The news media very seldom have anything good to say about young black men or women!  

When there are riots or public disturbances that include property damage and looting you tend to see mostly blacks! I think the images of the aftermath of Katrina in New Orleans will be forever stuck in people’s minds! 

If you want white people to stop looking at black young men the way they do, then I think the adults in the black community need to step forward and say enough is enough. 

Also Mr. President isn’t it a shame that you provided a role model to young black men that its cool to smoke marijuana, just like when you were a teen! Remember your “Chome Gang”! Shame on you!

The press is at it again! There are no similarities to the Trayvon case! Trayvon attacked Zimmerman and he defended himself! This old man should fry in the electric chair for what he did! Or should all the white entertainers, politicians and whoever go around wearing and old man mask in support of this jerk! Then the country would be divided by the hoody’s versus the old man masker’s!  Sounds silly doesn’t it? But that’s what’s happening in our country today!

When will we stop this?

Here again this is an example of what your representatives (and you and I) have allowed to happen! Is this what you voted for? Don’t just get angry do something about it! Have your representatives voted for this, have they tried to stop this?  Find out… express you anger by sending them a letter of disgust or a phone call! If everyone who will receive these emails that fly around the internet about our stupid government would send a letter or call their senators or congresspeople and tell them they have lost your vote you may see a change! Only if they think they may lose their office will they think about change! I can guarantee the people who support this are calling or writing them! So you can get involved with change by simply writing a letter, sending an email or just making a phone call. If you representatives email box fills up with discord about their voting record they will change it! So after you read this, or any other email exposing waste and stupidity in our government, look up your representative and send them an email of disgust (PS: CC the White House Address also!) ! I do all the time! It will make you feel better than just forwarding emails! Like it says in the end "Sad isn't it!"

As I read these Tweets and Quotes and there are hundreds more talking about justice being served. Maybe justice was served! He was tried in a court of law. The prosecution had to prove him guilty of the crimes of which he was charged! All of this information and proof was presented to a jury approved by the prosecution! They listened (as I did) to the evidence presented and decided that Zimmerman was innocent of all charges! This is the way justice is served in the U.S.! Most or all of the individuals sending these negative tweets or quotes about justice want revenge and not justice. The tweets by Roddy White and Victor Cruz are incendiary and could come under hate speech! The only quotes that make sense are Obama’s (Which shocks me!) and Larry King! He is right to say we weren’t there and all of these tweeters weren’t either! It’s just politically correct now to be pro Trayvor and anti-Zimmerman! There are those who support the verdict but are too frightened to express their opinions due to the attacks they would face from the media and everyone else who has a computer and can tweet! People would probably post their phone numbers and addresses and encourage bodily harm against them! Remember the peace loving Democrats who said we should kill the president of the NRA and his children and anyone else who owned a gun after the Newtown, Conn., shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School!  What a bunch of hypocrites!

I am in shock that George Zimmerman was found not guilty! Not because the evidence indicates that is the wrong verdict which it isn’t, it’s because in our Politically Correct Society evidence and the truth are usually ignored! Of course Trayvon supporters will now scream racism at the top of their lungs! Politicians, Actors, and so called leaders of the Black community will be on all the TV shows saying that this proves we live in a racist society when a man like George Zimmerman can get away with shooting and killing such a fine young man like Trayvon Martin!? Remember if President Obama had a son he would be just like Trayvon! Ha! Someone like Trayvon wouldn’t be allowed to be within 1000 yards of his daughter! From what I have gleaned from all of the evidence and information I could find and validate to be true, Trayvon Martin was killed by his own culture where it’s cool to act like a Gansta’! Wearing Gansta’, clothing flashing Gansta’ signs on Facebook and acting all around tough when maybe he really wasn’t!? I guess when confronted by Zimmerman he went into his Gansta’ routine by talking tough and acting like he had been dissed! I also guess he thought if he attacked George Zimmerman and beat him up he would really get some street cred with his pals! He didn’t imagine or couldn’t ever imagine that someone would try and protect themselves from his attacks because in our Political Correct Society this would not be acceptable! All of the six members are women. Five are white, one is Hispanic. The four alternates include two women and two men, all of whom are white, but for one male Hispanic!? How this could happen is unbelievable to me! Of course I think if there would have been just one Black person on the jury you would not have seen an innocent verdict! Because that person would have been ostracized from their community when they found out who they were! Sad but true! So in closing let the fun begin! There will those who will say that this ruling will lead to the down fall of our American Civilization and way of life that made us the greatest and strongest country that the earth and history has ever seen! Egypt was a religious society founded on the worship of nature gods and goddesses. Greece and Rome had their pantheon of pagan deities. And the list of nations in India, China, and other parts of the globe all demonstrate the principle that civilization arises from religion.

Jim Nelson Black sees ominous parallels to our own country. He says,

Unfortunately, this nation has embarked on a journey to maintain a society without a religious code. The Ten Commandments are pulled from the walls, and religious values are stripped from the public square. Christian principles are no longer taught in the public schools and often ridiculed in the arenas of education and media. One has to wonder what the fate of this country will be in the future.

There is also a decline in social, cultural and moral decay all eating at the foundation of what built and maintained our society! History provides ample illustrations of the disastrous consequences of the collapse of law and order. Four important trends demonstrate cultural decay. They are the "decline of education," the "weakening of cultural foundations," the "loss of respect for tradition," and the "increase in materialism." There is the "rise in immorality," the "decay of religious belief," and the "devaluing of human life."

Life became cheap in the latter days of the Roman Empire. Burdensome regulation and taxes made manufacturing and trade unprofitable. Families were locked into hereditary trades and vocations allowing little if any vocational choice. Eventually, children were seen as a needless burden and abortion and infanticide became commonplace.

Manners and social life fell into debauchery. Under Justinian, entertainment grew bawdier and more bizarre. Orgies and love feasts were common. Homosexuality and bestiality were openly practiced. Under Nero, Christians were blamed for the great fire in Rome and horribly persecuted.

Similar patterns can be found in other civilizations. In Greece, the music of the young people became wild and coarse. Popular entertainment was brutal and vulgar. Promiscuity, homosexuality, and drunkenness became a daily part of life. And all moral and social restraints were lost leading to greater decadence.

The parallels to our own nation are striking. No, we don't sacrifice infants to a pagan goddess, but we have aborted nearly 40 million babies on the altar of convenience. And various sexual practices are openly accepted as part of an alternative lifestyle. It's no wonder that many believe our country is a nation in decline.

Are we a nation in decline?

Russell Kirk put it this way:

It appears to me that our culture labors in an advanced state of decadence; that what many people mistake for the triumph of our civilization actually consists of powers that are disintegrating our culture; that the vaunted 'democratic freedom' of liberal society in reality is servitude to appetites and illusions which attack religious belief; which destroy community through excessive centralization and urbanization; which efface life-giving When we understand the factors that led to the decline of great civilizations, we can easily see that this country can succumb to similar temptations and decadence. What happened in Greece, Rome, Egypt, Carthage, and many other civilizations can happen to us.

Professor Allan Bloom in his book The Closing of the American Mind, said, "This is the American moment in world history, the one for which we shall forever be judged. Just as in politics the responsibility for the fate of freedom in the world has devolved upon our regime, so the fate of the philosophy in the world has devolved upon our universities, and the two are related as they have never been before."{13}

We as a nation and a people must rise to the occasion or suffer a fate similar to that which has befallen civilizations in the past. The task is not easy since the patterns of decay found in other nations strike ours as well. Nations were subverted by false and foreign ideologies. We too find hostile ideas in the public arenas of media, politics, and education. Sexual promiscuity led to the downfall of these nations. So too we find similar patterns of sexual promiscuity and debauchery.

As nations fell into decline, life became cheap. Infants were strangled, exposed to the elements, or sold into slavery. Others were sacrificed to pagan goddesses in order to ensure productivity or a long life. Today life has become cheap. At one end of the spectrum, unborn babies are aborted. At the other end, physician-assisted suicide is becoming acceptable for the aged.

In his study of history, Arnold Toynbee describes the predictable pattern of "challenge and response." We as a nation are challenged in fundamental ways, and our response will either pull us back from the brink or push us over it. Will we follow the path to renewal and reformation or will we follow the path to destruction? The choice is ours!
