President says he'll run the country through Executive Orders!
Too bad Obama doesn’t have
class like Payton Manning who faced his critics after one of the worst games of
his life and took the blame without being obnoxious and arrogant! The arrogance
of this president is unbelievable! He says HE will run the country through
executive order if HE doesn’t get what HE wants! HE has already changes the
policy of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to NOT arrest
and deport the majority of illegals in the country today! This basically is
de-facto amnesty which he could not get through congress! The term ‘immigration
reform’ is now just a code for amnesty! HE is so arrogant the HE invited (now
this is our president who is supposed to uphold the law of the land, right?)
illegal aliens to his State of the Union address while he won’t meet with ICE
agents who have concerns about HIS policy! We have a President who will provide
those illegally in the US with the seat of honor at one of the most important
events of the year, but ICE officers who serve under him and risk their lives
for this country are unwelcome in the White House! It may be too late because Americans went to
the polls and re-elected this guy for another 4 years! HE now thinks he has a
mandate to do whatever HE wants and we may not be able to stop him! If those of
you who voted for him wanted a dictator you’re on your way to getting one. If
you don’t want a dictator you better get active with your legislatures to start
the processes of overturning executive orders!

Donna, always thought your comments and believes were insane. This just proves that to be true! Donna do you really believe all of our soldiers who died defending our country did so to allow illegal (criminals) to vote! Do you all of you politicians want to stay in power so bad that you would vote for amnesty? The term ‘immigration reform’ is now just a code for amnesty! This is all craziness and makes no sense! If the president doesn’t want to obey the laws or just obey the ones he agrees with then were does that leave us! If we become a society without laws (we’re no longer a Christian nation that had guidelines) we will sink into chaos!

We need as a nation need to look at these tragedies with guns differently. Psychiatrist E. Fuller Torrey, MD, a researcher who specializes in schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder and the founder of the Treatment Advocacy Center, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting timely and effective treatment of severe mental illness calls crimes like these shootings at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado and Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut – as well as dozens of other recent homicide’s “a predictable tragedy”! (Quoted from Reader’s Digest). As we all know when the relatives and friends of these perpetrators of these heinous acts when interviewed, they inevitably will say they displayed signs of severe mental illness, either schizophrenia, bi-polar and or some type of autism! This is not to say that people suffering from these illnesses are going to go on mass shooting sprees! Obviously, many violent acts in our society are perpetrated by the so called “sane”! And most of the violence committed by the severely mentally ill is inflicted upon themselves! It is also mentioned that these relatives and friends were trying to get them help but it was either not available or because of ‘so called’ patient rights unless it was observed that the patient tried to kill or maim themselves or someone else it is relatively impossible to get them institutionalized for the help they need! In the late 1950’s there were about a half a million people living in mental institutions. By the late 70’s there were a little over 100,000 due to efforts of psychiatrists, philanthropist, and politicians to deinstitutionalize the mentally ill! Let’s say the pendulum has now swung far past patient rights into the territory of wild neglect! So what does all of this mean? There are more “severely” mentally ill patients in our society who can’t or want to get help for their disease! There are too many mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters and friends of these individuals trying to get help from a shrinking base of psychiatric care across the nation! Adam Llanza’s mother and friends KNEW he was sick but could not get him committed which would have prevented this “predictable tragedy!” I think all the money and effort put forth to eliminate guns needs to be put into having more access to facilities that can help these people with “severe” mental illness! No one wants to go back were a psychiatrist could institutionalize an individual because they didn’t like the way they comb their hair! But we need to have a system where we can, with checks and balances in place, get these individuals off the streets so they cannot hurt themselves or commit these heinous crimes!
