2014 and Beyond!

As we move into 2014 there is renewed effort by the Democratic Party or as they should now be known as the Progressive Party to do whatever it takes to stay in power! The reason I say that is I believe that true Democrats still believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights! I also believe that true Democrats still believe that we are a Christian nation! I don’t think these so called Progressives believe in either! All the progressives want is to control the population!  How can they do this? Before I continue lets define who “they” are! “They” are us!  What we all have to face is everyone complains about the “Government or They” which was duly elected by Americans in 2008 and 2012! Maybe we as a people want to trade in our freedoms in favor of Big Brother taking care of us from cradle to grave! One big way “they” can stay in power is through Economics. Let’s talk about the economic destruction in the U.S.! Four years ago, then Senator Obama ran for President, promising to fundamentally change America.  Based on that goal, his Administration’s economic program has been an extraordinary success!  The combination of below average economic growth, high unemployment and his Administration’s initiatives to expand the number of welfare recipients have produced: An increase of 18 million people, to 46 million Americans now receiving food stamps; A 122% increase in food stamp spending to an estimated $89 billion this year from $40 billion in 2008; An increase of 3.6 million people receiving Social Security disability payments; A 10 million person increase in the number of individuals receiving welfare, to 107 million, or more than one-third of the U.S. population;  A 34%, $683 billion reduction in the adjusted gross income of the top 1% to $1.3 trillion in 2009 (latest data) from its 2007 peak. This essentially has created a very large voting block that will never vote for anyone trying to reduce government spending! And the predictions and expectations from experts indicate this trend will continue if we stay the economic course we are on. Adding Obama Care to the mix almost guarantees the US will go broke by 2020! By then the majority of Americans will be dependent on the Government for food, shelter, clothing and medical care! We will be like a third world country depending on China because at that time they will grow into the world superpower in the East, and because of Obama’s naiveté and bungling of foreign policy in the west Russia is now the most influential country with our old NATO friends because of the oil and gas they provide!
