A Decade on, Most are Critical of the U.S.-Led War in Iraq

A Decade on, Most are Critical of the U.S.-Led War in Iraq
What’s so frustrating about Iraq and Afghanistan.is that we never really went to war? War is when you go in and destroy your enemy. You must destroy them completely and make sure they cannot attack you or your country again. You must level their cities, destroy their infrastructures and most importantly you must destroy their will to continue waging war against you! You cannot fight a politically correct war. Women, babies and children will be collateral damage! You cannot stop attacking just because of this, its part of war! Some people are under a misconception that we can drop a few bombs and our enemies will surrender! We now know that is not true! We have to go in and engage in hand to hand combat! Our people will die their people will die and it will be a bloody mess! What are we doing in Iraq and Afghanistan? We aren’t waging war? We haven’t won the hearts and minds of the people? Our current rules of engagement set our soldiers up to be attacked without a good and quick response for fear we may hit a civilian!? Let’s just admit it! We lost another “war” because we let the politicians get involved and stood in the way of our military leaders who could have brought Iraq and Afghanistan to their knees within months! The Taliban and other enemies could have been eradicated like rats! We have the capability and capacity to make the world a safer place for ourselves but just don’t have the political will (again)!
